HOW OFTEN DO YOU OPEN COMMISSION REQUESTS?

I open commissions a few times throughout the year depending on my schedule. The best way to stay updated is by following me on Instagram or Tiktok: @juliayeedesigns. I always post there first when my commissions are available!

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE FOR A COMMISSION REQUEST?

All required details will be listed in the commission request form. The most important thing to have ready is your reference photos!

Please make sure your photos are clear and well-lit. You're welcome to send multiple angles, but a straight-on view of the building is especially helpful. The clearer your images, the better I can capture the character and details of the space.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

See my sizing and pricing section here! Payment either upfront OR split between a 50% deposit upfront, and 50% upon completion, is required to begin artwork.

CAN YOU DRAW PEOPLE OR PETS?

My focus is on architectural illustration so I currently do not offer full portraits of people or pets. That said, I am happy to include personal touches like a pet in the yard, a name on a mailbox, or silhouettes in the windows for an additional fee!

HOW DO I RECEIVE THE PAINTING?

Once your commission is finished, I will ship the original artwork to the address you provide. Orders outside the U.S. will have an additional shipping fee.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES?

Due to the custom nature of these illustrations, refunds and exchanges are not available. My work is a stylized and artistic interpretation, so I recommend browsing my portfolio beforehand to make sure my style feels like a good fit for you!

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

Currently, most commissions take about 1 month to complete depending on the complexity and how many projects I am currently working on. If you have a specific deadline like a closing date or special occasion just let me know and I will do my best to work with your timeline!

Art Shop FAQ

How long will APT and Shipping take?

Average production time is 3-5 business days to be processed and shipped.

  • Envelope Mailers (USPS stamps, no tracking): Please allow up to 14 business days for delivery.

  • All other art orders (with tracking): Most packages arrive within 5–7 business days after processing.

Damaged or Didn't receive your order?

If your order is damaged, gone missing, or your order hasn’t arrived past the expected delivery window, please email juliayeeart@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Date of purchase

  • Photos of damage

Return Policy

All sales are final unless damaged from shipping or incorrect. Prints are made to order, so Julia Yee Designs is unable to accept returns, exchanges or cancellations.
